Our Solutions Ecosystem:
izi-ai
A sovereign public sector LLM refined using African data.

izi-ai draws its name from the isiXhosa and isiZulu word “iziko”, meaning “hearth” or “central fireplace”- a symbol of shared knowledge, community, and collective decision-making.
izi-ai is an African Large Language Model (LLM), purpose-built for the public sector. It is trained on African data - policies, laws, reports, research papers, myriad datasets, and other official documentation - so that it can understand and reflect the continent’s local knowledge, governance contexts, and languages.
Redefining Public Service with AI
In close collaboration with governments, izi-ai is trained and finetuned on data from the African Strategic Hub and other sources, to reflect local context and need.
Designed as the intelligence layer for a wide range of public sector AI tools, izi-ai helps reimagine governance: improving service delivery, enabling citizen-centred automation, and powering more efficient, context-aware public systems.
