The Living Plans Portal moves beyond static plans on PDF to better reflect the dynamic nature of local spaces. It offers structured templates and embedded insights to support the standardisation, coherence, and strategic alignment of government plans.
Through a templated approach, the Portal supports the efficient development of high-quality plans. Drawing from the African Strategic Hub, insights are updated periodically using the latest available data. Each plan’s outcomes and projects are aligned to local, national, regional and global strategic priorities (including SDGs and Africa’s Agenda 2063). The interactive platform allows for the ongoing monitoring and periodic updating of plans, and smart indicators enable more dynamic reporting, monitoring, and evaluation of government initiatives.
